Zafus

The word zafu is of Japanese origin and means literally ‘seat made from bulrush’. Nowadays zafus are no longer made from this material as they are usually made out of heavy duty cotton and typically filled with either spelt, buckwheat or kapok.

Our zafus are made out of a heavy cotton drill in the traditional style with the customary pleats and a convenient carrying handle.
