Like in a group session, you need not keep an eye on your watch, the Meditation Timer is here to free your mind from the preoccupation of time. Set the timer to the desired duration of your sitting, then press the ON button. Twenty seconds later, three chimes of the gong will accompany the beginning of your meditation, creating a perfectly appropriate atmosphere for your practice. Later, three more chimes - preceded by several softer and faster ones - will gently signal the end of your session.
There are eight possible settings: 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 45 and 60 minutes.
The Meditation Timer can also be used to indicate the beginning and the end of a session for various therapies where peace and serenity are appropriate and a "plus".
The wooden part of the Meditation Timer pyramid is entirely handmade in solid wood. It is built to the perfect proportions of the Kheops pyramid, which Feng Shui specialists consider as a source of powerful energy, stability and balance.
The sound of the Meditation Timer is that of a Tibetan “singing bowl” digitally recorded, which gives it a very pure quality. There are 2 volume control options.
